>It is a violation of the Immigration Control Act for a foreign national to engage in an activity involving management of business or remuneration other than what's permitted under his or her status of residence. It is of course illegal to stay over the authorized period of stay.
>Check up your status of residence and period of stay on your passport and Certificate of Alien Registration. Do not forget to obtain a change of status or extension, if necessary.
